Buckhead

Annexed to the City of Atlanta in 1952, Buckhead has seen tremendous growth since that time, evolving into the vibrant community of interconnected neighborhoods it is today. Buckhead is home to some of Atlanta's most luxurious high-rise condominium buildings as well as street after street of grand historic homes with rolling manicured lawns. Although newer homes continue to be built in the area, Buckhead's various neighborhoods contain some of Atlanta's most architecturally significant residences designed by a who's-who of nationally recognized architects.

Buckhead is anchored by a core of high-rise office buildings, hotels, shopping centers, restaurants and condominiums centered around the intersection of Peachtree Road and Piedmont Road near Georgia State Route 400, the Buckhead MARTA station, and Lenox Square.

Buckhead has a lot of great restaurants, shops, attractions, and private schools. However, safety has become a large issue that the city of Atlanta is trying to address. Unlike it's Atlanta namesake, this Buckhead is a very quiet, country town.
